First Home Football Game vs San Pedro
Our first home football game of the season is Friday, August 23rd. Come and show your support for North High School and Saxon Regiment! Band families have a space designated on the bleachers in front of the band so please feel free to join us. Saxon Regiment will perform the Star Spangled Banner before the game and a portion of this year’s Field Show during half-time. Please make sure students bring appropriate clothing listed below to be worn under their uniforms.
Volunteers
Volunteers are needed for band’s performance at the game:
Pit Crew – Arrive at Band Room at 6:00pm to move instruments/equipment to Stadium then back to Band Room after game – NEED 5 VOLUNTEERS
Bleacher Set-Up Crew – Arrive at Band Room at 5:30pm – NEED 4 VOLUNTEERS
Drum Major’s Podiums – Arrive at Band Room at 6:00pm to move to Stadium then back to Band Room after game – NEED 2 VOLUNTEERS
If you’re a first time parent, this is a great opportunity to support your student, get to know other band parents, and also get practice in for competition days. Please meet in front of the band room on Friday at 6:00pm. You will be given instructions on what to do and veteran parents will help you along the way.
